Judy Nohrenberg, Pifer’s Farmland Manager, joins America’s Land Auctioneer, Kevin Pifer, to discuss Conservation Reserve Program (CRP) incentives and sign-up dates for 2022.  The CRP preserves and improves soil health and environmental quality on sensitive land in exchange for financial incentives to landowners.

 Judy Nohrenberg, Pifer’s Farmland Manager, explains the benefits of cell-grazing, which allows the land and forage to rest and accumulate growth after they have been defoliated through grazing without the risk of animals coming back and grazing then again before they regrow and replenish nutrients.
